Science Research Report ~ Earth Science Science Research Report ~ Earth Science Students will research TWO topics from the list below and write a 1-2 page research paper for each topic chosen. Consistency	Poor Student's paper lacks consistency. Paper is hard for the reader to follow. Introduction does not direct the readers perspective to the flow of the paper.	Fair Student's paper has some consistency; however reader has trouble understanding the flow of the paper. Introduction is clear but body doesn't support paper's intro.	Good Student's paper has consistency and introduction leads reader into the body of the paper. However, lacks supportive details for subtitles in body of document.	Excellent Student's paper has consistency, introduction supports body of paper and subtitles are supportive to papers content.
Grammar	Poor Student's paper contains 10 or more grammatical errors.	Fair Student's paper contains 8 to 10 grammatical errors.	Good Student's paper contains less than 8 (5 - 7) grammatical errors.	Excellent Student's paper contains 0-4 grammatical errors.
Content	Poor Student's position is not clear in conclusion/ or paper doesn't contain a conclusion paragraph.	Fair Student's position is vague in the conclusion.
