End of Unit Assessment: Government Slideshow Rubric Google Slideshow Rubric This rubric is meant to help guide you in the creation of your Google Slideshow - 'Your Government Project'. Each category in the far left column represents a part of the project that you will need to consider in regards to your effort and the quality of what you produce. Read the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the slideshow, to ensure that all the required parts of your presentation have been included and all other criteria have been met. Grading Rubric
	Excellent 10 pts	Good 8 pts	Fair 6 pts	Poor 4 pts
Content	Excellent All required elements are included with correct information and are covered in detail. (Minimum 8 slides, all questions are considered, slides are coherent and there is little confusion for type of government)	Good All required elements are included with correct information and are covered but not in great detail. (Between 7-6 slides are fully completed, some questions are not addressed or not fully explained, there is some confusion for type of government)	Fair All required elements are mentioned, or incorrect information is presented (Between 5-4 slides are completed, there is little coherency between slides and much confusion about what type of government it is)	Poor Did not have the required elements at all. (Fewer than four slides completed, minimal evidence of any comprehension of task)
Presentation/Graphics	Excellent Slides are attractive. Text is easy to read. Pictures, graphics and effects are used throughout to enhance presentation. (More than four pictures, that accurately represent what the slide is presenting, transitions are appropriate)	Good Slides are attractive. Text is easy to read. Three of the slides use pictures, graphics and effects to enhance presentation.	Fair Slides are easy to read, and there's a basic balance of text and pictures on the page. Only two of the slides have pictures, graphics or effects.	Poor The slides are not easy to read and don't look attractive. There is little use of pictures, graphics or effects. (Pictures have nothing to do with what the slide is presenting)
Use of Class Time	Excellent Used time exceedingly well during the class sessions. Focused on getting the presentation completed.	Good Used time well during the class sessions. Usually focused on getting the presentation completed.	Fair Used some of the class sessions well. There was some focus on getting the presentation completed but occasionally distracted.	Poor Did not use class time to focus on the presentation OR distracted others. Reminders were given to stay on task.
