My Outer Space Adventure!
Shel Silverstein
Students will use information gathered throughout their research in order to provide a story about their imaginary adventure. Students will need to describe the components of Outer Space such as planets, stars and galaxies. Students will also need describe the planets they pass on the way to their destination. Students will also have to describe their survival package that will consist of items they will need in order to survive in Outer Space.

The ideas for the topic are minimal. Not much effort put into the idea. Questions are left unanswered but over all the topic is alright.

Ideas satisfy what is being asked of. However, some questions are left partially answered.
Excellent
Content is all accurate and ideas comply towards what is being asked. All of the details are relevant towards the topic and all questions have been properly answered.
Organization and Neatness
Poor
Project is not organized at all from beginning to end. Information is completely out of order.
Fair
Information is in correct order but very little detail is presented. Limited information is given.
Good
Information is off by a subject or two. The student could have spent a little more time preparing, but over all the project is organized.
Excellent
Information is well presented and all of the information is in correct order. Observantly, student has taken time to practice material and organize data.
Preparation
Poor
Inadequately prepared and is unable to present project.
Fair
Some of the information is inaccurate. But over all, the student comprehends what is being presented and is somewhat rehearsed.
Good
Information is factual but the student could have rehearsed presentation a few times before presenting.
Excellent
All information given is correct and well planned/rehearsed.
