Creativity	Poor The listening map shows little or no evidence of original thought.	Fair The student's work lacked sincere originality.	Good The student work demonstrates originality.	Excellent The student work demonstrates a unique level of originality.
Effort	Poor The student did not finish the work in a satisfactory manner.	Fair The student finished the listening map but it lacks finishing touches or can be improved upon with little effort.	Good The student completed the listening map in an above average manner, yet more could have been done.	Excellent The student gave an effort far beyond the requirements of the listening map project.
Responsiveness	Poor The listening map did not accuratley reflect the music	Fair The listening map mostly reflected the music	Good The listeing map accuratley reflected the music but could have used greater detail	Excellent The listening map reflected the music at an exceptional level
