Craftsmanship	Poor Student has not achieved the skills needed to finish this project.	Fair Student has ability to show evidence of skill, but does not put in work ethic .	Good Student has great craftsmanship abilities, and reflects skill in final product.	Excellent Student has excellent craftsmanship and will go the extra mile to make every little detail look finished.
Creativity/Unity	Poor Student came up with images for the animal but did not follow the plan, and it did not look at all like the design.	Fair Student came up with concept and idea for animal and followed the plan, but it didn't reflect the plan.	Good Student came up with a unified idea for their animal and reflects through purposeful thought, of animal came together well with the plan.	Excellent Student came up with concept, picture and plan. They were challenged by the idea and worked hard to reach the finish that they were wanting to achieve.
Construction	Poor Student shows basic construction skills.	Fair Student shows construction skills of the animal but lacks the detail to make the final piece a stronger piece of art..	Good Student shows excellent construction skills of a basic animal. Student puts in extra time and effort to make their work better.	Excellent Great skills shown in the construction of their animal. Following the plan achieved a great piece with a great deal of detail.
Participation	Poor Student does not participate in class.	Fair Student has to be constantly reminded to stay on task.	Good Student stays on task during class, and had turns in work on time.	Excellent Student stays on task during class, puts in extra work and effort after/during school.
