Finding the Perimeter 
Students were asked to create a fence for their puppy and measure its perimeter. Illinois State Goal 7.C.1 Determine the perimeter using concrete materials. Common Core 2.MD.1 Measure the length of an object by selecting and using appropriate tools.

Student was able to measure and label all sides of the fence correctly. Student was able to find the perimeter for the fence and used the correct units for each.
