Finding the Perimeter Finding the Perimeter Students were asked to create a fence for their puppy and measure its perimeter. Perimeter	Far Below Student was unable to measure label the sides of the fence correctly. Student was unable to determine the perimeter of the fence.	Approaching Standard Student was able to measure and label parts of the fence correctly. Student was unable to determine the perimeter of the fence.	Meeting Standard Student was able to measure and label the all sides of the fence correctly. Student used the correct formula to determine the perimeter, however student made an error in calculation or did not include units.	Exceeding Standard Student was able to measure and label all sides of the fence correctly. Student was able to find the perimeter for the fence and used the correct units for each.
