Rubric For Ostinato Performance
In small group performance, students will present layered rhythmic ostinatos in a continuous performance that they have created. The ostinatos must be written down in accurate musical notation, each one containing 4 beats. Delivery should include a variety of percussive sounds and instruments. The group should be able to sustain the performance for at least 1 minute.
