Mesopotamia Advertisement 
Students will be assigned to groups that represent a particular city-state. Each group will research historical facts about their assigned city-state and produce a pamphlet or television advertisement in which they attempt to entice nomads to settle in their city. Students must include the information specified in the directions. Audience members will be asked to write down whether or not they would be willing to move to that city-state based on the advertisement.
