Letter Project SWBAT solve a visual arts problem by creating a well-balanced composition using the elements of art and principles of design to arrange parts of a letter into a new composition, as measured by rubric. Elements and Principles of Design	Poor Does not show balance or any elements of art or principles of design	Fair Shows some balance, and one element of art or principle of design.	Good Is well balanced, and two elements of art or principles of design.	Advanced Compositions is well balanced, and three or more elements of art or principles of design.
Arrangement	Poor no thought put into arrangements of parts	Fair Very little thought put into the arrangements of the parts	Good Some thought put into the arrangements of the parts	Advanced Thought was clearly put into the arrangement of the parts to create a complete and unified composition.
Presentation	Poor Did not present	Fair Student presented but could not explain out any elements of arts or principles of design in their composition	Good Student presented but could only explain one element of art or principle of design.	Advanced Student presented and could explain multiple elements of art and principles of design in their composition.
Labeled	Poor Student has not labeled any parts of their letter.	Fair Student have labeled more then 25% of the parts of their letter.	Good Students have labeled more then 50% of the parts of their letter.	Advanced Student has labeled ALL parts of their letter.
