Technical Qualities 25 pts Exposure, focus, contrast, lighting, etc.	Excellent Excellent Print Quality	Good Most technical aspects are successful; materials are generally well handled.	Moderate/Fair Technique may be erratic with little sense of challenge.	Poor Poorly executed, little regard for print quality.
Composition 25 pts Eye movement, space usage, organization, strong points of emphasis, use of line, shape, color, pattern to strengthen composition.	Excellent Composition is excellent, purposeful and well thought out.	Good Composition is purposeful and well composed but still lacking in some way.	Moderate/Fair There is a sense of some decision making, however the compositions need work.	Poor Composition is poor with little consideration.
Content 25 pts Fulfills the assignment and shows intent.	Excellent Shows a sense of inventiveness or imagination a sense of style or engagement with experimentation.	Good The work may be inconsistent, but the quality is strong enough to offset its weaknesses.	Moderate/Fair Shows a sense of effort and some decision making.	Poor Solutions tend to be trite.
Communicative Properties 25 pts Visual impact, emotional reaction, mood, etc.	Excellent Shows obvious evidence of critical thinking.
