Multimodal Virtual Poster rubric 
The students will work alone or with a partner and put together a virtual poster. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to their theoretical orientation. Students will include all required components in a creative electronic poster. The poster will be uploaded to the assigned discussion board for classmates/instructor to view and discuss.

The poster includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise. The student added information above what was taught in class or required for assignment.

Well organized, free of spelling & grammar mistakes.

Poor

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete. Many spelling and grammar errors.
Fair

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.

The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.

Not many graphics. Written material is not well organized. Limited use of space on poster. Some colour, texture and visual interest.
Good

Contains graphics and written material is well organized. Variety of graphics, and good use of space on poster. Good colour, texture and visual interest. Shows the student spent time creating this poster.
Exceeds

Contains strong graphics and written material is well organized. Excellent graphics, and good use of space on poster. Eye catching colour, texture and visual interest. Shows the student spent considerable time creating this poster. Writing is easy to read.
Format/presentation

APA citations and references are included.

Poor

Websites are included with no APA citations or references.
Fair

APA citations and references are included with most formatted incorrectly.
Good

Poster is formatted with APA citations and references with few errors.
