I perform the dance(s) with attention to most details of technique, but I haven't quite attained proficiency in the dance style yet.
Beginning
I lack an understanding of technical elements (ie. footwork, quality of movements, body positions). I'm just trying to keep up with the moves.

I show a complete understanding of tempo and beat and stay on rhythm throughout the dance. My movements are aligned with the musical phrase and beat.
