Native American Project 
Fourth Grade- Students will individually research and write a detailed description of Northeastern Woodland Native Americans. Students as a group will choose a topic to create a project and present to the class.

The content is exemplary and accurate in its portrayal of assigned area; i.e. environment, clothing, food, weapons/tools and shelter. Covers topic in-depth with details and examples. Includes bibliography of resources.
Creativity- Appearance

The project and presentation demonstrate good knowledge of the subject investigated. Student could answer most questions about topic correctly.
Excellent

The project and presentation demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the subject investigated. Student clearly answered post- presentation questions correctly and easily.
Final Presentation

Each student will present at least two facts.

Poor

During the presentation students spoke either softly and/or too quickly. Students in the back could not hear. Students did not have factual information for their presentation.
Fair

During the presentation students spoke in a normal tone. Students in the back had some difficulty hearing. Students looked up on occasion. Students provided 1-5 facts during presentation.
Good

During the presentation students spoke clearly and loudly projecting his/her voice. Students looked up sometimes.
Students provided 6-9 facts during presentation.
Excellent

During the presentation students spoke loudly & clearly projecting his/her voice so that students in the back could easily hear. Students looked up often. Students provided all 10 facts needed for presentaion.
