Culturally influenced items	Excelling Items are used in a creative way. There are at least 3 items included in the stop motion animation.	Meeting Items are used in a somewhat creative but is incorporated well. There are only 2 items.	Approaching Items are used, but not in a creative way. Only had 1 item.	Limited Items are not used correctly or missing. Has an item but is not a culturally influenced item.
Figure/Object - Oil based clay	Excelling Figures/Objects are very well crafted and visually interesting. A lot of time was put into their construction.	Meeting Figures/Objects are well crafted and visually interesting.	Approaching Figures/Objects are crafted but not very visually interesting.	Limited Figures/Objects are not well crafted and is not visually interesting.
Animation	Excelling Animation is very smooth and the characters/objects have fairly natural movements. All frames are in focus.	Meeting Animation is smooth and there is very little distracting camera movement. Most frames are in focus.	Approaching Animation is choppy. Camera movement is a little distracting.	Limited Animation is very choppy. Camera is unsteady and distracting.
Sound Effects & Music	Excelling Sound effects and music "fit" perfectly with the animation.	Meeting Sound effects and music add to the movie experience.	Approaching There was probably a better choice for sound effects and music. Titles/credits were too long or distracting but were still informative.	Limited Music and sound effects were distracting. Titles/credits were too long and distracting.
