Class Discussion Rubric Class Discussion Students are expected to complete the assigned reading and come to class fully prepared to discuss and critically analyze the reading material. Each class member is responsible for finding answers to questions that arise to enhance her/his own learning. Because of the format of this experiential learning opportunity, class discussion will be an even more critical component of this course. Class will be spent discussing, reading, and discovering how this topic is relevant to your future as an audiologist. Quality of Response	Excellent Participation relates to main topic and adds new concepts, ideas, or information	Above Average Relates to main topic with some supporting details.	Average Participation clearly relates to main topic, but has a minimum of supporting detail.	Below Average Participation clearly relates to main topic, but lacks details or examples.	Poor Participation contains minimal information or relevancy to main topic.
Knowledge of Professional Terms	Excellent Use of professional vocabulary occurs consistently and comfortably.	Above Average	Average Use of professional vocabulary occurs but not consistently.	Below Average	Poor Participation involves unprofessional vocabulary &/or tone.
