Ugly Mug Challenge Warm/Cool Collage Using the concept of Appalachian Ugly Jugs, students will create a ceramic mug using slab construction techniques. Facial features will then be applied. B (Good) The project was planned carefully; understanding of most concepts and instructions are shown.	C (Fair) The art project is planned adequately; understanding of some concepts and instructions are shown.	Incomplete(Poor) The project shows little to no planning or understanding of the concepts and instructions given.
Skill/Craftsmanship 1 pts Neatness, precision & care	A (Excellent) The project shows outstanding skill,with clear attention to detail and proper use of materials. Craftsmanship was excellent, with great care taken in design and construction.	B (Good) The project shows good skill, with good attention to detail and proper use of materials.
