Good/Very Good - Content is not comprehensive and /or persuasive.- Major points are addressed, but not well supported. - Research is inadequate or does not address course concepts.- Content is inconsistent with regard to purpose and clarity of thought.	Excellent - Content is comprehensive, accurate, and persuasive.- Major points are stated clearly and are well supported.- Research is adequate, timely and addresses course concepts.- Content and purpose of the writing are clear.
Organization & Structure 30 pts	Poor - Organization and structure detract from the message of the writer.- Writing is disjointed and lacks transition of thoughts.	Good/Very Good - Structure of the writing is not easy to follow. - Paragraph transitions need improvement.	Excellent - Structure of the writing is clear, easy to follow and is at university level.
Format 10 pts	Poor - Project lacks many elements of correct formattting.- Paragrpah is inadequate/excessive in length.- Project is of poor quality/sloppy.	Good/Very Good - Project follows most guidelines.- Responses are of appropriate length based on questions.- Project is of good quality.	Excellent - Project follows designated guidelines.- Project is the appropriate length as described for the assignment.- Project shows excellent quality.
Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling 10 pts	Poor - Paper contains numerous grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors.- Language uses jargon or conversational tone.	Good/Very Good - Paper contains few grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors.- Language lacks clarity or includes the use of some jargon or conversational tone.	Excellent - Rules of grammar, usage, and punctuation are followed; spelling is correct.- Language is clear and precise; sentences display consistently strong, varied structure.
