Pre-Lab Reporting	Excellent Prelab is complete and neat	Good Prelab is mostly complete, neat, but minor details are missing	Fair Prelab is hastily done, student did not follow directions, and is incomplete	Poor Prelab is mostly not done, may be unable to understand, has errors	not done Required work has not been done
Performance During Experiement	Excellent Student independently follows all directions as written or with permission to change written directions, adheres to all safety rules, cleans up as directed	Good Student follows written directions, may make minor safety infractions [dress code]	Fair Student needs constant assistance, may need constant reminders of safety, may leave materials out,	Poor Student attempts to lab without reading or following directions, disregards safety, does not clean up	not done absent when lab is done
