Summarize the text	Meets the Standard Summarizes the story by including all important details from the story. You may have used chronological retelling, problem/solution or SWBST.	Partially Meets Summarizes passage but leaves out 1 of the important details.	Does Not Meet Summarizes leaving out more than one of the important details.
Main Idea/Supporting Details	Meets the Standard Determines what is most important and identifies details that support the main idea or theme.	Partially Meets Determines what is important and includes limited details to support the main idea to identify the theme.	Does Not Meet Does not determine what is important and has difficulty supporting the main idea or the theme.
Theme	Meets the Standard Accurately determines the theme of the text with reason.	Partially Meets Determines the theme of text.	Does Not Meet Does not accurately determine the theme of the text.
