Independent Reading Logs 
Entries should show a basic level of comprehension of the books students are reading independently. There should be at least 3-5 entries for each independent reading session.

Journal entries are legible, but could improve on neatness. Journals are turned in on designated day. Students have a minimum of 3 entries.

Journal entries are neat and easy to read. Journals are turned in on designated day. Student has 3 or more entries.
