French 1 Chapter 7 Oral Presentation 1940's Clothing Poster This is a rubric for a French 1 assignment related to a unit on the clothing. Students had to find pictures from people of different coutries and make a poster with descriptions of the clothing they traditionnaly wore. Content	Good Poster contains 10 pictures of people from the country	Fair Poster contains 8-9 pictures or some pictures are not from the country	Poor Poster contains 7 or fewer pictures or most pictures are not from the country
Organization	Good Poster is neat and attractive. Each picture is captioned. Pictures and captions are easy to see.	Fair Poster is somewhat neat and attractive to look at. Most pictures have captions. Some pictures or captions are hard to see.	Poor Poster is disorganized. Many pictures are missing captions or most pictures and captions are illegible.
Captions	Good Each picture has a caption telling what the person is wearing in French	Fair 8-9 of the pictures have captions telling what the person is wearing in French, or some captions use English or some captions do not mention all of the clothing the person is wearing.	Poor 7 or fewer of the pictures have captions, or most of the captions are in English, or most captions only mention 1 or two items of clothing.
Grammar	Good Correct grammar is used, including verb conjugations and noun-adjective order.	Fair There are some grammatical inaccuracies but they do not detract from the meaning.	Poor Grammatical inaccuracies make the captions hard to understand OR it is evident that you had translation help from bilingual peers or the computer.
