Accuracy	Needs Improvement More than two examples of figurative language are used incorrectly or do not match the correct figure of speech.	Meets Standard One-two examples are incorrect or do not match the figure of speech.	Exemplary The examples are accurate and match the correct figure of speech. Illustrations help the viewer understand the content.
Mechanics	Needs Improvement Several spelling, punctuation, and/or capitalization errors are present and hinder the viewer's understanding of the content. Appearance	Needs Improvement Poster appears rushed for completion; messy writing, lack of color or consistent color, or too much color so it's overdone and gaudy in appearance. Exemplary Content is spaced so it covers the majority of the poster in a balanced manner. Color is used and compliments the appearance. Writing is neat and legible.
