Four Quadrant Drawing 
Drawing from Observation With a Grid System
In this lesson, we will be drawing with the attempt to show atmospheric space relation of fore, middle, and background with emphasis on a main character while incorporating the hatching and pointillism shading techniques in the use of color and regular pencil, pen, and or marker or watercolor pencils.

Hatching Technique R-pencil

Pointillism technique was attempted with no use of the 1-10 value scale. Dots are randomly placed throughout the picture plane.

Pointillism technique and value scale of 1-10 was attempted, but apparent student does not have a clear understanding on use of the scale.

Pointillism technique and value scale of 1-10 are used with clear understanding of how to apply the technique from 1 (closest to light) to 10 ( farthest away from light source). Lines copied over once.
