Enthusiasm	Outstanding Facial expressions and body language generate a strong interest and enthusiasm about the topic in others.	Great Facial expressions and body language sometimes generate a strong interest and enthusiasm about the topic in others.	Good Facial expressions and body language are used to try to generate enthusiasm, but seem somewhat faked.	Okay Very little use of facial expressions or body language. Did not generate much interest in topic being presented.	Poor Student made no effor to show enthusiasm.
Preparation	Outstanding Student is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed.	Great Student seems pretty prepared but might have needed a couple more rehearsals.	Good The student is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.	Okay It is clear that both preparationa and rehearsal were lacking.	Poor Student does not seem at all prepared to present.
Speaks Clearly	Outstanding Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100-95%) the time, and mispronounces no words.	Great Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100-95%) the time, but mispronounces one word.	Good Speaks clearly and distinctly most ( 94-85%) of the time. Mispronounces no more than one word.	Okay Often mumbles or can not be understood OR mispronounces more than one word.	Poor Mostly mumbling, could not be heard by audience members. No effort to transfer information to audience.
Eye Contact	Outstanding Strong eye contact is made with the audience demonstrating a confidence in the knowledge being provided.	Great Eye contact with audience is steady, but glances at notes or projector too often.	Good Eye contact is mainly with teacher and/or notes or projector.	Okay Rarely makes eye contact with anyone and/or directly reads most of the information demonstrating a lack of knowledge of topic being presented.	Poor No effort is made to look at the audience or teacher and all material is read.
