Effort	Developing I took some care but need to improve in this area. I needed to be reminded to stay on task and complete the artwork satisfactorily.	Working Towards I put effort into my work, but I need to work on neatness and taking the time to complete it fully.	Proficient I put great care and effort into their work so that my artwork was completed to a good standard.	Advanced I put exceptional care and extra effort into their work. It shows neatness and is completed to a high standard.
Art Standard #3 Invent and discover to create	Developing I did my best to make the sea turtle but need to work on colouring in and considering the techniques used.	Working Towards The student drew a sea turtle and needed some guidance colouring in with oil pastel.	Proficient The student drew a sea turtle so that it was very recognisable. They coloured in using oil pastels using some effective techniques.	Advanced The student drew a sea turtle so that it was very recognisable. They coloured in using oil pastels using a range of techniques that were highly effective and showed proficiency
Art Standard #3 Demonstrate basic studio skills.	Developing I needed some help when painting with watercolours.	Working Towards The student tried to use the watercolour techniques but needs more practice.	Proficient Student demonstrated the knowledge of watercolors and used the basic techniques correctly. Pencil lines were covered with crayon.	Advanced Student demonstrated the knowledge of watercolors and used the basic techniques. All pencil lines were covered with crayon. Student chose pleasing colors that show contrast.
