RMS DigiMed T-shirt Design Contest Creating a T-shirt Design The student/s will create a T-shirt design for their class that is creative, original, attractive, demonstrates good use of color and pattern (where applicable), and includes the school name. Design Effort 10 pts design effort is creative/original and demonstrates understanding of the assignment	Level 1 -lacks creative/original design<BR> -doesn't demonstrate understanding of the assignment. Using background.	Level 2 -somewhat creative/original design<BR> - demonstrates fair understanding of the assignment	Level 3 -creative/original design<BR> -demonstrates good understanding of the assignment	Level 4 very creative/original design<BR> -goes beyond the assignment requirements
Use of School Name and Year 40 pts application of RMS or Robinswood Middle School to T-shirt design, 2014-2015 School Year. No more than 5 words.	Level 1 -name is missing	Level 2 -name is too small or is otherwise unreadable	Level 3 -name is readable -Student has used RMS or Robinswood Middle School	Level 4 -creative use or placement of name adds to the overall design of the T-shirt. -Student has used: 2014-2015
Layout - Color/Pattern/ Text 40 pts use of color and, where applicable, pattern. No more than two colors.	Level 1 -poor use of color/pattern/text. No lines of text	Level 2 - fair use of color/pattern/text. Contains 1 line of text	Level 3 - good use of color/pattern/text. Contains 2 lines of text	Level 4 - excellent use of color/pattern/text. Contains 3 lines of text with less than 5 words. -Layout dimensions is 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 8.5
Overall effect 10 pts attractiveness of T-shirt	Level 1 -T-shirt is not attractive. I would not wear it.	Level 2 -T-shirt is fairly attractive. I would buy it for someone.	Level 3 -T-shirt is attractive	Level 4 -T-shirt is very attractive...I'd wear it!
