Transferring the Image 10 pts The drawing paper was divided into perfect 2 inch squares	Below average Did not transfer the image correctly or needed the teacher to assist. Able to capture essential details and changes in value. 8-9	Above average The drawing was transferred by the student with extreme accuracy and attention to detail. Value/Shading 60 pts Value is applied in a way to match reference photo and create the illusion of form (3D). Shading is smooth and controlled.	Below average The drawing was shaded with little attention paid to value changes in photo. The value range is extremely limited, only 1-2 values present. 45-50	Average The drawing was shaded using a small range of value that resembles the photo. Student could have pushed the dark areas for a better sense of realism. The transitions between values is slightly noticeable. 50-55	Above average There is a full range of values. The shading is gradual and extremely realistic to the photo. Student pushed deepest values and found highlights to create sense of form to the face. 55-60
