The students will work to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to their Social Studies topic: "George Washington for President" Students will provide information on their chosen topic in a creative and colorful poster.

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner. Includes NEAT illustrations. Text is clear, neat and straight

Lacks original creativityt Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks color, texture.

Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of color/shapes/design. Most of the drawings/writing is the student's own ideas.
Good Work

Contains students own ideas. Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the student spent time creating an artistic piece.
Excellent Work

Eye catching. Great use of colors, texture, shapes, and spacing on poster. Creativity is shown to in every area on the poster. Writing is easy to read. Shows the student can express ideas through art.
