Piece Construction 8 pts	Unacceptable The set piece does not match the chosen play in any way.	Not Yet Meets Expectations Scale is off for 4 or 5 objects/pieces. Set piece is completed messily. Piece does not meet the needs outlined by set designer.	Minimally Meets Expectations Scale is off for 2 or 3 objects/pieces. Piece somewhat meets the needs outlined by set designer.	Fully Meets Expectations Relative scale is correct, may be no more than 1 piece/object with incorrect scale. Piece meets the needs outlined by set designer.	Exceeds Expectations Piece is created using a mathematically correct scale. Piece meets the needs outlined by set designer.
Piece Decoration 8 pts	Unacceptable Set piece not decorated.	Not Yet Meets Expectations Decoration incomplete. Colours, textures, finishes, etc. make the piece look out of place with the rest of the set.	Minimally Meets Expectations Piece is decorated using colours, textures, finishes, etc. that may not match the rest of the set well. Most of set piece is decorated.	Fully Meets Expectations Piece is completely decorated using colours, textures, finishes, etc. that are realistic and match the rest of the set.	Exceeds Expectations Piece is creatively and completely decorated using colours, textures, finishes, etc. that fit seamlessly with the rest of the set.

It appears as though student spent an exceptional amount of time getting the assignment "just right".
