	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Content	Poor Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about the lab.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.	Good Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Data	Poor Student did not give data.	Fair Little data was given and/or it was inaccurate.	Good Data was given, but it was inaccurate.	Excellent Data was included and was accurate.
Lab Report	Poor 1 paragraph or less and no evidence of using the scientific method for research.	Fair 2 paragraphs or less.	Good 3 well-formed paragraphs.	Excellent 4 well-formed paragraphs that show that the student followed steps for conducting lab.
Mechanics	Poor Student's presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors.	Fair Presentation has three spelling errors and/or grammatical errors.	Good Presentation has no more than two spelling errors and/or grammatical errors.	Excellent Presentation has no spelling errors or grammatical errors.
