	Poor 0 pts	Fair 2 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Content	Poor Student did not include the required elements (the personalized questions and questions about hobbies, preferences, personal details, etc.)	Fair Student included the required elements as well as developed responses.	Excellent Student included all of the required elements and included developed responses. The dialogue was exceptionally well-written.
Vocabulary & Expressions	Poor Student did not include the vocabulary and expressions discussed in class, or included them with many errors or as "French-isms."	Fair Student used relevant vocabulary and expressions with few errors in usage.	Excellent Student used appropriate vocabulary correctly and expertly.
Clarity	Poor Sentences were very difficult to understand.	Fair Sentences were usually comprehensible.	Excellent Sentences were clear, comprehensible, and natural. Student made very few or no grammatical errors.
Fluency & Conversational Flow	Poor Student was unable to deliver a comprehensible presentation of the dialogue. Student paused frequently and may have spoken French at times.	Fair Student hesitated and paused at times, but this did not significantly interrupt the presentation.	Excellent Student was able to communicate clearly and fluidly with little difficulty. The dialogue flowed naturally, like a conversation.
Pronunciation	Poor Student's pronunciation was incomprehensible or made understanding very difficult.	Fair Student's pronunciation was comprehensible and mostly accurate.	Excellent Student's pronunciation was almost like a native speaker's.
