Pottery 1 : ZENTANGLE TILES 
Make 6-9 4x4 inch highly textured slab tile. Based on your detailed sketches, you will create a tile that show relief, pattern, lines, shapes, and color. Make tile at least 3/8 inch thick but not more than 1/2 inch. The following techniques: Relief, Sgraffito, Incising, Impression, Stamping, subtractive and additive experimentation with texture. All edges should be smooth,, name should be on bottom of tiles. Tiles should be subdivided into 3 inch squares.
