Speaks loudly and confidently. Stands up tall. Does not fidget much. Makes eye contact with audience. Does not read slides word for word
Discussion/Debate

Poor

Does not state standpoint. Does not answer questions. Can/does not defend position with facts. Is not respectful during debate.
Fair

States standpoint (vaguely). Has trouble answering audience questions. Defends position but does not always use facts to back up claims.
Good

States standpoint. Answers audience questions. Listens critically to debates made by other students and defends position using facts to back up their claims. Is respectful during debate.
