Avanti P.E. Participation Rubric
	Poor 0 pts	Satisfactory 1 pts
On Time	Poor Student was late or tardy to class.	Satisfactory Student was on time to class.
Appropriate Attire	Poor Student is not dressed appropriately for physical activities. Examples: Open Toed Shoes, Flip Flops, Dresses, Sandals, Skirt/Kilt and/or Jeans.	Satisfactory Student is dressed appropriately for all physical activities. Examples: Sweats, Shorts, Tennis Shoes, Sneakers and/or T-Shirts.
Sportsmanship	Poor Student does not cooperate with others. Student is boastful and bragging in win, angry in loss. Student resorts to cheating.	Satisfactory Student encourages, compliments, and congratulates others. Student is modest and graceful in win or loss. Student is honest, plays fair and helps others.
Respect	Poor Student uses negative words and actions toward others. Student is intimidating and bullying others. Student excludes others Student creates possible dangerous and harmful situations.	Satisfactory Student talks and acts with respect to others. Student respects skill level and views of all. Student includes all and is willing to play with others. Student creates a safe environment.
Following Rules	Poor Student talks out of turn and does not pay attention. Student does not care about rules. Student is careless when using equipment and facilities.	Satisfactory Student listens when appropriate. Student follows class, unit and game rules Student properly takes care of equipment and facilities.
