Theme	Poor The theme of Remembrance Day and why we remember is not clear.	Fair Student creates a scene that displays reasons why we remember on November 11th. Somewhat original ideas present.	Good Poster displays clear thought as to why Remembrance Day is important. Originality is evident.	Excellent Much attention has been made to understanding Remembrance Day. Grabs the viewers attention. Very original.
Colour/ Shading	Poor Colour is used but technique is below grade level.	Fair Student uses some colour. But does not pay attention to detail.	Good A fair amount of colour is used. A fair amount of thought has been made to detail.	Excellent Student used an appropriate amount of colour, paying attention to shading and detail.
Neatness/ Use of Space	Poor Artwork is messy. Poster is very crowded, or too empty.	Fair Student's work is somewhat neat. Poster could have been laid out differently to better use the space.
