TQM Business research Marketing Management 
Students must research and find a business or corporation and determine the company's mission, vision, and history, the Company's total worth, the CEO and what TQM practices they have implemented. Labor unions involved must also be presented and any other general information about the company. A two page detailed report must be presented, a powerpoint slide which must contain at least, an introduction, history of the company, CEO information, TQM for the company and any union information, a closing, and a slide which details the knowledge the student has gained from the research. You must also include a cite page at the end of your presentation. Slides must be in sequence according to the description as mentioned above.

Presentation must describe in detail all of the specific information mentioned in the description of the project.

Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information and slides do not follow the descripton of the project.

Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around but slides do cover the description of the project.
Good

Group presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow and information covers the description of the project.
Excellent

Group presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow. Information is exceptional as it relates to the descripton of the project.
Subject Knowledge
20 pts

Information is explained in depth through the presentation and the group does not read from the slides.

Poor

Group does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject.
Fair

Group is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.
Good

Group is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.
Excellent

Group demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Graphics
20 pts

Backgroud should not detract from presentation, and citation ( at the end of the presentation) should state references. A hand-out should be provided to classmates, which could include a copy of your sldes in note format.

Poor

Group uses superfluous graphics or no graphics or a hand-out is not provided.
Fair

Group occasionally uses graphics that rarely support text and presentation, handout does not relate to presentation.
Good

Group's graphics relate to text and presentation. Handout relates to presentation.
Excellent

Group's graphics explain and reinforce screen text and presentation. Handout is exceptional with color and explains the TQM method of management in detail.
Mechanics
20 pts

A two page report, double spaced in times new roman or courier is present and has few grammatical errors, and is not copy paste paper explaining the parameters of the assignment.

Poor

Group's presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors, and or is not in the correct format (paper).
Fair

Presentation has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors and/or is not in the correct grammatical format (paper).
Good

Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors/and is or not in the correct grammatical format (paper).
Excellent

Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors. Paper is extremely well written, and has covered every aspect of the assignment.
Eye Contact and Elocution
20 pts

Poor

Group reads all of report with no eye contact.
Group mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Fair

Group occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report.
Group's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation
Good

Group maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes.
Group's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent

Group maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes.
Group uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
