Research and report on the philanthropy and social responsibility efforts of your chosen organization. Be sure to include a profile of the organization, ie..mission, goals, community involvement etc... other pertinent background information ( Ref: Chapter 24 of assigned text, Figure 24-1 pg. 556)

Research the customs and culture of a different country. Determine how it might impact businesses, and analyze what a U.S. company would need to know to be successful in that country. You will need a specific product for your research, presentation and also an Advertisement(aimed at teenagers in that country).

Reference (class lecture, hand-out and research). Pick your chosen career cluster and pathway and create a presentation. You must have a two page written report, and the presentation must have pertinent information mentioned in your hand out. Be sure to cite your references both in your paper and your visual presentation.

Students are to identify international business opportunities by exploring the economic environment of another country. they are to research the cultural impact on a nation's business environment. Identify political factors affecting the business activities in a foreign country, and analyze trade barriers that may affect international business activities.

Conduct marketing research according to the Advertising fact sheet given in class. Create a survey with at least 15 questions (5 demographics/ closed end questions and 10 open ended questions). You will need a research paper and a PowerPoint to explain and report your findings. The Power point will have at least seven slides-Introdution, define the problem, obtain data, analyze data, recommend solutions to the problem, apply the results, closing and a works cited page.

This activity is designed for students to act out a non-verbal communication skit. A written story must accompany this project. You must act out the story and it should be at least 1-2 min. You may choose several ideas that are attached to his rubric.

Prepare a presentation that showcases the entrepreneurial characteristics of a successful entrepreneur that you have researched. Your must have he following in your presentation: Introduction, Person, Business, Product, Competitiors, Environment of Operations, Traits of the founder or founders, Successess or Failures, Background, Prospective Future, and any other pertinent information. You must have a closing slide, and a works cited slide. You must also have a Two page Research paper.

Create two magazine advertisements for a new or improved product. It must have all of the elements of a print advertisement. Refer to your hand-outs and this rubric for guidance. The advertisement must be 3D. You may use the computers for pictures, be creative( use drawings, magazine ads, construction cutouts, etc...., and or other arts and crafts for this assignment. (You wil need a paper to explain your details about your advertisement).

Ref: Chapter 2 of assigned Textbook. Given a specific target segment, research and create a presentation, poster board to present your target market. You must write a market segment and find products to market to this segment. (See attached hand-out) (the market profile is written, typed double spaced- 12 point font).

Research and report on the social, ethical and regulatory aspects of advertising. Explain each: domestic and international governmental laws/regulations and penalties, global and cultural differences and ethical considerations for advertising and public relations. (Be sure to give concrete references such as a specific corporation that may have violated the laws). A two page paper is required.

Reference assigned chapter in textbook (Chapter One). Prepare a presentation based on the hand-out, for a specific product and relate all of the seven functions for your specific product and a one page paper is also required.

Conduct market research for a new product. Create a survey with at least 6 questions (3 demographics). Determine the feasibility of the product, costs and price to sell it for with a 50% mark-up. Determine why you think the product would sell-psychographics, target market, etc....You need an advertisement, paper, and power point . (Reference is Chapter 20 in your textbook and supplied hand-outs). (Paper is to be double spaced New times roman or Courier with 12 point font).

Prepare a presentation: REF: Hand-out on forms of media (see attached). You must describe and give an example of each type of broadcast media on your hand-out. Be sure to use graphics, and answer all Five parameters of assignment. A one page paper must accompany your presentation, double spaced, 12 point font. You may prepare a powerpoint, or Prezi, and must have an opening, closing, and a reference page and slide.

Ref: CH. 9.(pg. 251). You are a Marketing specialist, choose a specific country to research and report concerning the standards for movies in that country. Follow the directions (Q-1-5 on pg. 251 and supplied hand-out).You must create a collage for your information about the country and its film industry). A one page paper with references is also required.

Ref: Chapter 31 and 20 of assigned Textbook. Create a personal logo, brand-name, mark, and trade character for a (Simulated Product). You may use drawings, magazines, construction cut-out but not the Internet. Must be colorful, and you need 4 different types of slogans (pictorial poster-board).

Students will Create a Marketing Plan for a small business. Write a paper describing the elements that lead up to a Marketing Plan and also prepare a multimedia presentation (Reference hand-out and competitive Events Prep Q # 18 pt. 247 of assigned textbook)

Ref: CH: Two pg. 61. You may use a sports game or other entertainment venture. You must answer all Seven descriptors and display your information in a PowerPoint or Prezi. You must include a spreadsheet (excel) for all itemized expenses with a percentage for the total and have a pie chart. (Your paper will answer question # Seven in at least Three paragraphs). Presentation should be colorful. You will present your project to the class.

You must develop a promotional plan with all of the steps as listed on your hand-out. You must also conduct the plan and evaluate it's effectiveness. You must present your plan in a PowerPoint or Prezi brief to the class. You will also need a paper and a flyer (advertisement) for this assignment. Remember to establish measurable outcomes and objectives for your plan.

Life SKills Infomercial project - Budgeting

Create an advertising budget, Choose a specific method in which to create an advertising budget, You have $15,000 for your small business(research your costs). Include: product/sales, and target market. Be creative in your selection of your product/service. Slides must include: an Introduction, a budget(excel), explanation of the budget and type and or terms. Other pertinent information, a closing slide and a reference slide. Prepare to defend your budget/costs to the advertising department CEO.
