Does Not Meet Standards No article was submitted with the report.
Summary	Meets Standards The summary is written including the important 5Ws: who, what, when, where, and why. It clearly states the content of the article.	Approaching Standards The summary is written including 4 out of the 5Ws and/or partially states the important content of the article.	Below Standards The summary is written using 4 of the 5Ws and/or misses most of the important content of the article.	Does Not Meet Standards The summary includes 2 or less of the 5Ws and/or doesn't state the important content of the article.
Response/Application	Meets Standards Your reaction to the article is written in complete sentences, restates the questions, and answers why.	Approaching Standards Your reaction to the article restates the questions and is written in a complete sentence but doesn't answer why.	Below Standards Your reaction restates the question but doesn't answer why and isn't in complete sentences.	Does Not Meet Standards Response/Application is essentially missing from report.
Information	Meets Standards The information about the article is completely and correctly filled out on the form. You know what type of article this is, specifically what the source is, and if it is local, national or international.	Approaching Standards The information about the article is filled out completely.
