Math Leaves Design Project Math Leaves Design Project 1) Students will select a concept from the standards covered in the nine weeks they would like to illustrate. 2) Students will get approval from the teacher which concept they will cover. 3) Students will decide how they want to demonstrate the rule or law associated with each concept and illustrate on their leaf cut outs 4) The students will string together all of their leaf designs for all of the concepts illustrated for their class. 5) Grading will be according to the following rubric. 	Poor 10 pts	Fair 20 pts	Good 30 pts	Excellent 40 pts
Illustration of the Rule	Poor Did not complete	Fair Rule/Property is illustrated, but incorrectly reflected	Good Rule/Standard is illustrated correctly	Excellent Rule/Standard is illustrated correctly and creatively
Leaf Art Design	Poor Did not complete	Fair Done, but did not use creativity in the design	Good Done with some creativity and design	Excellent Well thought out illustration with creativity
Effort/Participation	Poor The student did not participate.	Fair The student had trouble focusing on the project.	Good The student completed the project but it could be improved with a little more effort.	Excellent The student took their time to complete the project accurately and efficiently.
