Power Point Project Power Point Project Students will work in pairs to create a power point presentation. The presentation will contain information regarding topics covered in Social Studies, Chapter 1. The students will work together to present their power point to the class. Power Point	Advanced The electronic presentation includes all factual information relevant to the topic in an organized fashion.	Proficient The electronic presentation includes all relevant factual information; however, is not well-organized.	Basic There is too much/little information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion.	Below Basic The electronic presentation is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented.
Oral Presentation	Advanced The students present the information clearly and display a complete understanding of their information. It is presented in a clear and concise manner with full understanding of the subject.It is evident that the student was well prepared.	Proficient The students present the information clearly and display a reasonable understanding of their information. Good oral presentation.	Basic The presentation lacks style and reads more like a list of facts than a support for an oral presentation.	Below Basic Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information, it therefore lacks many elements of what is expected.
Teamwork	Advanced Partners listen to, shares with, and supports each other's efforts. The workload is equally balanced.	Proficient Partners usually listen to, share with, and support each other's efforts. The workload is somewhat balanced.	Basic Partners sometimes listen to and share with each other, but disagreement is evident, OR one partner has done most of the work.	Below Basic Partners are not cooperative and do not attempt to wrok together, OR one partner has done all of the work.
