Weather Report

Map

Create a map. No words on the map except the name of the city & country. It must include 3 appropriate weather pictures. Also include the current temperature for the three day period. No French vocabulary can be written on the map.

Excellent

All directions followed and map is neatly labeled, presented and easy to see.
Good

Map is somewhat neat, easy to see but more time could have been spent. Some directions not followed.
Fair

Map appears sloppy or lacking in requirements or is difficult to see. Some directions not followed.
Poor

No map or it appears to be quickly thrown together with little thought or time spent on it. The directions were not followed. Words were on the map that were not to be included.
Presentation

Project will be presented to the class in French. No script used.

Excellent

Excellent presentation using appropriate vocabulary. Enthusiasm used. Voices were clear and easy to understand. Looks at audience.

Good effort to communicate using appropriate vocabulary. Enthusiasm used through out skit. Voices were mostly clear and easy to understand.

Speaks fairly clearly with good pronunciation, fluidity and is mostly understood. Student is generally prepared.

Speaks with certain clarity and fluidity in some areas, but has some flaws in pronunciation, and is only partially understood.
Poor

Speaking is choppy, lacks clarity with long pauses with poor pronunciation, and is mostly incomprehensible.
Group Work

You will receive these points based on your groups on-task behavior and teamwork during the preparation of your presentation.

Excellent

Group worked well together without teacher reminded them. All members of the group were productive members.
Good

Group worked well together. They only needed to be reminded once to stay on task. All members were productive.

Group needed redirection often. Work was not equally distributed through members.

Group worked very poorly together. Off task behavior kept group from succeeding in project.
