	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Rhythmic Accuracy	Excellent Confidently performs all rhythms correctly and maintains a consistent tempo throughout.	Good Most of the rhythms are performed correctly, with few errors. 1-2 tempo adjustments.	Fair Some basic rhythms are performed correctly; however, has challenges with some rhythms in specific measures. Tempo is under or above assigned speed with 3 tempo alterations	Poor Most of the rhythms in musical score are performed incorrectly. Not performed at assigned tempo with 4 or more tempo changes throughout.
Style/Interpretation	Excellent The performance of the piece is beautifully executed with both appropriate style and interpretation.	Good Most of the piece is performed using correct style and interpretation.	Fair Some parts of the piece are performed using both style and interpretation.	Poor The style and interpretation of the piece is not executed during performance.
Musicianship	Excellent Student performs the piece with appropriate dynamics, phrasings, and articulation.	Good Most of the dynamics are followed, and most of the articulation signs are observed. Most phrases are performed correctly.	Fair Some dynamics are observed. Some articulation is performed. Some phrases are complete and musically accurate.	Poor No dynamics. No use of articulation. Most phrases are performed incorrectly.
Holding Position	Excellent Student keeps proper position during the entire piece.	Good Left arm goes down slightly but quickly goes back to correct position	Fair Left arm wont hold position	Poor Left arm is always close to the body
Posture	Excellent Student demonstrate proper posture while performing	Good Student holds the position it only needs a little reminder	Fair Student has to be reminded of proper posture most of the times	Poor Student has to be reminded constantly of proper posture at all times
