This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your PowerPoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Orchestra performance grading rubrics

Submit one 2-3 page typed paper, double spaced, 12 point font in MLA format. Include a bibliography citing at least 3 resources used researching the paper. (use quotes from all 3) Sources should include a news paper, professional journal, or their webpage. Wikipedia may be used if their sources are creditable. You are encouraged to interject your personal opinion into this paper.

Orchestra Playing Test

Research a composer/arranger from the Baroque through Romantic Eras (1600-1830). Submit a 6-page, double spaced paper that is compliance with MLA format by 3:00pm Friday December 20th . Include a works cited page with at least 5 resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research (Content), credibility of sources (quality of research), grammar and mechanics, and works cited.

The students will work to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to their assigned Composer. Students will collect pictures and other artifacts for their poster to create a creative and colorful poster. The poster will be designed on a single sheet of poster paper no larger than 22"x 28".

This Rubric is used to critique solo performances by choir/vocal students.

Submit a 4-5 pages of content, double spaced, Times New Roman, 12 font.All margins set at 1". A title page & works cited page must also be submitted. At least 3 sources cited in MLA format on the Works Cited page. You must include at least 1 quote from each source in the content of your paper. Graded on: quality of research, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar, and works cited page.
