MY PLATE VIDEO RUBERIC Fitness Video Rubric Students will be divided into groups to create 1 minute video based on the knowledge they have acquired throughout food and nutrition. The video(s) must be a total of 1 minute and depict a brief activity that leads to health and wellness. Punctuality/Effort 10 pts Project is handed in on time shows effort.	Excellent Project is turned in or before the due date and exemplifies the group's best effort.	Good Project is turned in on or before the due date and shows some effort.	Fair Project is turned in on or before the due date, but displays little or no effort.	Poor Project is turned in late and displays little to no effort.
Presentation 7 pts Presentation of video (Vocal, keeping everyone’s attention, explanation)	Excellent Explanation was very clear and organized. Demonstration of healthy activity is very well done.	Good The video was spoken so most could hear and was somewhat organized.	Fair Some could hear the video but it was not very organized. Minimal demonstration of exercise activity.	Poor Video was presented but was very disorganized. Minimal demonstration of exercise activity.
Research 5 pts Use of fitness terminology, identification of muscle groups, and use of the FITT principle.	Excellent Video very well thought out and demonstrate thoughtfulness of healthy activity that would lead to a healthy lifestyle.	Good Video utilizes some fitness terms and concepts and identification	Fair Video utilizes few fitness terms and concepts and identification and little thoughtfulness put into video.	Poor Video utilizes very little if any concepts of my plate and lack of effort.
Participation / Use of Class Time 5 pts Did each student give 100% to the group in creating/researching/performing in the video?	Excellent Each person led the video at some point. Responsibilities were shared. Group was on task during class time.	Good Most members took part in leading the exercises and taking part in the background. Group was on task most of the time during class time.	Fair Either class time was not used properly or not everyone took part in each part of the video making	Poor Poor use of class time as well as not everyone was included in some part of the video.
