Civil War Newspaper Project 
Students will create a Civil War era newspaper. The students will include: a Title, 2 news stories, 2 feature stories, pictures with captions, headlines and bylines. Students will be graded on the ability to follow directions, content of the articles, creativity, presentation, and overall neatness. This project will constitute three grades: ELA - Writing, Social Studies, and Technology
