Planets of Our Solar System - Slides Presentation & Speech Planets of Our Solar System - Slides Presentation & Speech This Rubric will asses your performance in bringing together research to create a speech and design a Google slides presentation in order to educate the class on the planets of our solar system. Included in this presentation will be the planets place in our solar system, details and features of the planet and how the planet operates in our solar system. Information	Advanced Information is clear, relevant to the topic and written in the students own words.	Proficient Most information is accurate. Most is written in the student's own words. More could be added.	Developing Some information is accurate. Some material written in the student's own words.	Elementary Information is inaccurate or irrelevant and may be copied directly from source material.
Organisation and Layout of Slides	Advanced Information about the topic is presented in a clear and easy to follow manner.	Proficient Information about the topic is presented in a somewhat organised manner.	Developing Information about the topic is presented in a somewhat disorganised manner.	Elementary Information about the topic is presented in an unorganised manner.
Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling	Advanced Student makes no errors in their slides.	Proficient Student makes 1 - 2 errors in their slides.	Developing Student makes 3 - 4 errors in their slides.	Elementary Student makes more than 5 errors in their slides.
Speech Fluency	Advanced Speech is confident and fluent with clear signs of rehearsal and knowledge of the content.	Proficient Speech is mostly fluent with 1-2 errors and shows knowledge of the content.	Developing Speech is somewhat unclear at times and the student displays some confusion with the content.	Elementary Speech is unrehearsed and unclear and the student displays a lack of knowledge of the content.
Engagement with the audience	Advanced Students engage the audience and allow them to be active participants in the presentation through clear speech, images and body language.	Proficient Students somewhat engage the audience through mostly clear engaging speech, images and body language.	Developing Students lack engagement with the audience with a lack of use of tone in their voice and only a small amount of body language and images used.	Elementary Students demonstrate no tone in their voice and little eye contact with the audience. Images are not referred to at all.
