Poems appear to be thoughtless or rushed. Work is very repetitive, and ideas are unoriginal. Ballad is missing two or more story elements OR does not focus on the required theme OR the "story" does not make sense.

The student has considered their presentation. The writing is neat, there is a neatly ruled margin and heading. Graphics are complementary.

The student has made a big effort in presenting their work in an attractive way. The writing is very neat and tidy. They have decorated their border and illustrated their poem with complementary graphics.
