Final Project PowerPoint Presentation Rubric
This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your powerpoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Fair
Not enough information is provided using images or graphics to compliment content. Amount of text is too great for the amount of space provided. Less than half the slides have relevant graphics or effects.
Poor
The slides are not well organized. Missing a lot of content. The amount of text is too great or not enough. There is little use of graphics or effects.
Grammar and Mechanics
Excellent
Capitalization and punctuation are correct throughout the presentation. There are no grammatical errors.

There are a few grammatical error on the presentation.
Fair
There are some grammatical errors on the presentation.
Poor
There is no evidence of editing.
Voiceover
Excellent
Speaker presents in a loud, clear voice. Voice is creative and engaging.
Good
Speaker presents in a loud, clear voice but voiceover takes away from presentation content.
Fair
Speakers presents in a voice that is sometimes clear and it obscures from understanding content.
Poor
Speaker does not present in a loud or clear voice and it is difficult to follow.
Use of Class Time
Excellent
Always on task. Used time well during the class period. Focused on getting the product done. Never distracted others.
Good
Used time well during the class period. Usually focused on getting the project done with a few distractions.
Fair
Used some of the class time well during the class period. There was some focus on getting the project done but occasionally distracted others.
Poor
Did not use class time to focus on project OR distracted others. Reminders were given.
