Abstract Paper Relief Sculpture
Students were to create an abstract paper relief sculpture by taking paper shapes and transforming them into paper forms, and then mounting them to a paper background. By doing this students took a two-dimensional material (paper) and created a three dimensional piece of art that shows space. Students could compose their sculpture by repeating one form or by using a variety of forms.
