tree goal rubric domains tree map rubric The students will draw a tree with roots, leaves, sun, and pollution depicting their fitness gram goals. Within the tree trunk will be their goals. The roots will contain the names of people willing to assist the student with their goals. The sun will contain a motivational message. While the pollution will contain obstacles that may get in the way of student's reaching their goal. Some of the elements are missing within the drawing.	Good The tree goal is lacking in elements required. The sun is missing an inspirational quote or one element is missing.	Exceeds The tree goal shows all of the required elements. No areas are missing on the paper. The student added information above what was taught in class or required for assignment.
Work quality/effort	Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into the tree goal.	Exceeds The work done exceeds expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work.
Creativity	Poor Lacks artwork. Messy. Lacks color.	Fair Not very appealing. Limited use of color within the tree. Not a lot of color/design.	Good Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the student spent time creating an artistic piece. Writing may be difficult to read.	Exceeds Great use of colors, shapes, and spacing on poster. Writing is easy to read. Shows the student can express ideas through art.
